I feel I am the Richest!

Ahhh! What a day it has been today. We got up at 5:30 AM cleaned a bit, took a shower. I made some very good ginger and cardamom tea, made some peanut butter sandwiches we packed our little bag and left for a long drive up the hills at 6:30 AM. The breeze was cool, the air was crisp and fresh. Butterflies and birds were set out and there were chirping everywhere. We stopped at our favourite spot for our picnic today. I picked some flowers, lay my picnic mat, spread my breakfast and we had a very good breakfast at the edge of the hill. I feel so rich to live like this. Live small, live limited not too much and thankful for whatever I have. When I listened to a friends story yesterday who has two houses, a new car and a child, he has so much debt to pay off, the child’s education is like high tide for them right now, and they work very hard but save almost nothing. On the other hand, we have to pay our rent and provide for our parents, we don’t have a house of our own, our car is old and needs repair all the time but it’s the best car we could ever have, my salary is very little and ends up by the mid month. But!!! We don’t have big debts, loans and instalments to pay. We eat simple but we are happy, we laugh and joke around, we wear old clothes and don’t give a D…. I feel I am the richest…
