Done with some pickled vegetables and dried buttermilk chillies today!

As the weather here got dry and the sun shines bright in the day. I had decided to make some buttermilk chillies. I slit the chillies(less spicy) and soaked them in a buttermilk, salt and turmeric solution overnight then I kept the chillies in full sun. Repeated the process one more time and dried the chillies. Then after the second day I only kept the chillies in full sun for 4-5 days and they are dry and crisp. I fry these chillies with lunch or dinner and it’s a great accompaniment. Today I also made some pickled vegetables. I used radishes, beetroot and carrots all in season. I will be making some grilled chicken shawarma on weekend so I decided to make pickled vegetables beforehand for good marinade veggies to go with. Work is done, dishes are washed, we had eggs for dinner today. I am in my bed while my husband has some classes online. I will retire soon as I got work tomorrow. How was your day?
