In the past decade, gas prices have increased by about 50%. Since it
has been steadily rising for the past few years it has become more
difficult to save on gas. This is a big issue & gas prices are at
an all-time high, especially for those who have to commute to work
every day.
Cars that are considered “gas-guzzlers” will cost you much more over
time rather than if you would have bought a car that was more fuel
efficient. However, considering what we could have or should have
done there still are many ways to save on gas.
The obvious solution is to buy a more fuel-efficient car. But with
the economy the way it is not everyone can afford that option.
Logically speaking you can drive less, use public transportation or
simply carpool.
One good way to save on gas is to get a Gas Rewards Credit Card. With a
gas rewards credit card, you can earn points and cashback when you
make a gas purchase. Most preferred cards let you earn anywhere from
2% to 5% cash back in which will add up fast.
Another thing to consider is to use apps to find cheap gas. The main
two gas money saving apps are Gasbuddy & Upside. Gasbuddy locates the
cheapest prices in your area while Upside partners with gas stations
so you actually get cash back upon your purchase.
A final tip for your gas saving adventure is to do regular vehicle
maintenance on you car. Be sure to keep up with tune ups & oil
changes to avoid losing gas mileage. Believe it or not but even keeping
your tires inflated with the right pressure makes a difference. I don't see
gas prices coming down anytime soon so use some of these tips &
save some money on gas.

In my country also have gas problems.Truck drivers are willing to stay overnight at gas stations so they don't run out of gas.

Great tips. Luckily for me I am retired so I choose not to travel more than twice a month and always when most people are either at work or school. Now that you mention it, I think I need to get new tires, that'll be a tough one for the wallet
I hope you'll enjoy Mylot, I've found it to be mostly fun over the years
