I genuinely want to know

I was thinking long and hard, as to what I'd like my first post, on My Lot to be and I decided to share a scenario. I am a proud Caribbean queen, I love my roots, love my kind and our flavour, our culture, I enjoy the many dishes and spices, My only issue is why are so many of the men feel so comfortable to father children and just turn their backs, literally will walk pass them on the roadway and not wonder how the child eat, if the child has eaten.
Why is it that an equal amount of these 'fathers' also have mothers strongly agreeing to that behavior having gone through it themselves, is it just my culture?

Mothers should teach their sons to be real men. Those men you describe are cowards. And they exist in all countries.

I agree with them being cowards, the mothers are 100% behind them acting as if they are golden boys and can do no wrong, I hate to hear a parent say I am not working so I cannot contribute, how do you tell a hungry you are not working and that's the end of it, same men you see living life daily, eating, drinking dressed to the 9's

Often times these mothers are the main reason they are like this, they want to know how much money their son is giving to their partners, they watch how these men care for their partners and children and guilt them with I raised you and you take everything give woman
