Is Gluten one of those things that you have to Build up a Tolerance-for & Maintain it by Regularly Eating it?

I was thinking of this, and remembered ... I think it was Peanuts; you have to start babies off eating 'one peanut' until their little digestive systems adapt. And then of course there's 'spicy food'-tolerance. https://says.com/my/lifestyle/why-some-people-can-eat-very-spicy-food-while-others-just-cannot And alcohol. And dairy. And caffeine. Sometimes fructose. And in the environment, some people develop a tolerance to cold (I have friends from up north who dress like it's Summer during these Southwest Winters!)

I think that if you are intolerant to a food, you should be very careful and get a blood test. Expecially for the allegy with eating peanuts People with peanut allergies can have a very big reaction if they even smell peanuts.

In short - no. And most people who avoid gluten these days are just doing it because it is a trendy thing and they think it is somehow healthier, although there is absolutely no evidence that gluten has any bad effects at all. After all humans have been eating wheat for thousands of years.

My mother avoids glutin because it causes her severe stomach problems everytime she eats it. It is not for her something trendy, and her food is much more expensive and hard to get because of this problem. She's 86!!

@lifecoachjerusalem I don't doubt that some people have a real problem, but now many people have somehow got the idea that gluten is bad and should be avoided. That is completely untrue for anyone without an intolerance. And as you say, if they do suffer from gluten intolerance they will certainly know about it! It isn't the kind of thing that you might think you had a bit of.
