Everyone has been waiting for this gem named Ruby to show up. It’s probably the first (and maybe the only) song with “Ruby” in the title that you immediately thought of. Of course this would make it!!! And here it is!
#3: Ruby Tuesday - The Rolling Stones
Since this made my ten favorite Stones songs countdown you knew it’s a no-brainer for this list.
The story goes that Keith Richards was the primary songwriter for this, writing it about how his girlfriend, a model named Linda Keith, broke his heart when she left him for Jimi Hendrix. Holy “Layla,” Batman! (Truth be told, I like this song a whole lot more than “Layla.”)
Broken hearts give us great songs, don’t they!!!
