Little cat sitting on my lap

This little cat belongs to my neighbor, but she is at my house. she suddenly came in and approached me. and trying to sit on my lap. I let it sit for a while.
My son loves to look at this little cat. This was his first time seeing a cat up close. I plan to buy cat food if this cat comes to my house again.

I would love to raise a cat. But I think I'll wait for my son to be 4 years old. To give him the responsibility of feeding

My roommate had this cat---she fed it & cleaned up after it & took it to the vet, I just ... 'hosted' it sometimes, serving as its cushion on the recliner; it was a very friendly cat that LOVED people's love. It would crawl up on my stomach while I watched TV (I don't think I personally ever got any pictures of it; it's a lot like the picture, except only one cat instead of a whole clowder).
