18 November - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a good day. If you read my morning post, you know I've been busy. I'm thankful for waking early this morning. It enabled me to get as much done as I did before the exercise class. Here are the stats. Bike 5 Miles, 23:52, Speed - 12.6 MPH Exercise Class - 45 Minutes - Not the high-intense workout we did on Wednesday, but still a good full-body workout. I'm thankful I have enough food to eat and I'm sticking to the Paleo diet. Stats: Breakfast: 905 Calories, Fiber - 15 Lunch: 510 Calories, Fiber - 6 Total - 1515 Calories, 21 Fiber Not as much fiber as I would like. Hopefully, it met the minimum requirements. I'm thankful for the work I did on three books: Three Wishes for Christmas, Where Eagles Soar, and Destination Love. I have less than a hundred pages of editing on the last two, and I'm on chapter five of the first. I'm thankful for my family. I talked to my son. I made arrangements to get the food for Thanksgiving dinner with his girlfriend. She's picking me up on Tuesday after work. I also asked him if he wished his cousin a happy birthday today. He was born one week after I got married. If my marriage had worked out and he still lived, we would have been married 50 years on Veterans Day. Unfortunately, that is not the case. However, my nephew turned 50 today. My son said he couldn't contact him due to his work and family. Good intentions. I'm thankful for online friends I can visit every day. Two people have contacted me regarding Christmas cards to verify addresses. I already received one last Sunday. I still need to buy cards. I'll do that soon. So, if I have your address, you will receive a card. If you received one in the past and moved, be sure to give me your new address. Okay, that's what I'm thankful for today.
