As the old saying goes, there is often a lot more in a company logo than you think. After all, it's the first thing you see that instantly lets you know where you are or what's for sale. When a logo is good you don't even need to see the name to know what the name is. Cars are often like that. Certainly anyone would recognize the Golden Arches or the Nike Swish or the Shell...well, Clamshell. But did you know that the arrow under Amazon's name has another detail behind it? The arrow points from A to Z, signaling that Amazon sells pretty much anything and everything. Now you know.

Yup. Anything you're looking for can be found at Amazon...or Walmart.

Pretty much. There used to be a really fun store to shop at, I think it was called Tuesdays, and they always had liquidation stuff there for cheap. It was always something to find interesting things there. It is out of business these days though.

@LindaOHio I like places like that. It is fun to walk around thrift stores for the same reason. You see things you don't see everywhere else.

Interesting. I never really paid much attention to the arrow. I wonder what Amazon doesn't sell, aside from weed.

Yes, and the arrow looks like a smile which means the smile on the customer's face.

@porwest You're right. Jeff Bezos is definitely the person who smiles a lot. Actually, that smile thing was told by my Finnish designer friend.

@Beestring I always think Jeff Bezos looks quite a lot like Daddy Warbucks from the Annie stories. lol

Everything under the sun, it would appear. lol As someone once said to me, "If you can't get it on Amazon it doesn't exist."

That was one that I did know, but I bet a lot of people don’t (or didn’t). Think I’ll get on Amazon and buy some alphabet soup. A to Z!

Some know and some don't, and I would suspect most don't. Most people don't pay much attention to certain things, and that's one of them. But it was fun to write about anyway. As for alphabet soup, I used to love it as a kid. lol
