Strange to think that this week has Black Friday

I swear it was just summer. . . now we are moving into Christmas season. I have most of my Christmas shopping done already. There are just a few holdouts that I have to figure out. I don't do a tree here because I am not into fake trees and there's no way for me to get a real tree up here by myself. I could ask others to help me but I haven't had a tree in so many years that I will be fine without one for another year. I will put out my Christmas decorations on Friday though. I didn't the first year that I was here but I have since then. I'm also making my own evergreen wreath with my aunts in a couple of weeks at a local county park. We did that back in 2019 and it was fun even though my wreath was like a Charlie Brown wreath. I'm not creative or artistic at all. I guess I am fine with time speeding by as long as it gets me to my beloved summer.
