We watched a Christmas movie

Last night, we discovered we have Netflix here so we took the opportunity to watch Falling For Christmas. It wasn’t a particular choice so much as a film that came up that we thought we might enjoy – which we did. Gracie enjoyed most of it too.
It was made in 2022 and stars Lindsay Lohan, Chord Overstreet and George Young. I thought ‘Chord’ was a somewhat unusual name but it seems his father was a country musician and songwriter, which might explain it. Perhaps @FourWalls has heard of him.
The film was an easy watch with the right guy getting the girl at the end. A feel-good Christmas movie. We might watch another one tonight but we’ll scroll through them a bit more rather than just watching the first one that looks okay.
Photo taken my me of Vince and Gracie watching the film.

@JudyEv That is normal for dogs. Dogs and Cats spend most of their time sleeping

@FayeHazel Everything here is solid and heavy - sort of expensive Balinese style. I wouldn't want to be shifting furniture around too often.

@Treborika I guess I'm not very interested in their private lives.

@JudyEv Yes, it was. If you get a chance, A Castle for Christmas is another good one. I saw that one last year and loved it. It's on my list to watch again this year. It's actually the movie that's playing when she hits the TV with the remote.

One of the channels here has already started showing Christmas movies, in fact they started at the end of September I think. I like the docudramas they have on Netflix and in the UK they have just got The Professionals. I do like Lee Marvin and Bert Lancaster

I get Netflix. I'll have to check that one out as I enjoy fun holiday movies. From the photo looks like the audience is chillin' and laid back as they watch the film

@dgobucks226 It's pretty undignified though, isn't it?

It sounds good. The Crown on Netflix is quite fascinating, but you won't have time to watch the whole thing. It goes on and on, starting when King George was still alive, up to current times.

Chord Overstreet’s father’s name is Paul Overstreet, a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame country songwriter and singer. Among the songs he’s written is Randy Travis’ great “Diggin’ Up Bones.” Yeah, I know who he is!
The only George Young I know of is the one who was in the Easybeats (of “Friday on My Mind” fame) and the older brother of Malcolm and Angus Young of AC/DC.
Thanks for the mention!

@JudyEv — I learned to read from the liner notes of albums, so I saw names of people who wrote the songs or played on the albums.
