22 November - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day to relax.
I'm thankful for a beautiful peaceful day.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Love's Illusions. With what I did today, I can finish it by the end of the year just as I planned.
I'm thankful for the best lunch I've made in a long time. I found a hamburger patty in the freezer and added a baked potato with dairy-free sour cream, and green beans from the freezer. I topped the potato with soy-free teriyaki sauce drippings from the burger. Yum!
I'm thankful for the holiday season. Thanksgiving is two days away, and Christmas is five weeks. It's the best time of year, a time when every day is a day to be thankful-thankful for life, thankful for health, thankful for the things we're not usually thankful for, like the weather-hot or cold, rainy, or snowy, the earth needs the change of seasons as much as we do. It's a time of family and what they mean to us. It's a time of Christmas movies, Christmas music, and Christmas productions by our children.
I'm so thankful for my family and friends, new and old, virtual, or physical. We are all family, and we have a lot to share with one another.

Your lunch sounds good. I had the second half of a huge salmon filet my daughter fixed for me last night How many books have you published so far?.

@celticeagle I started in 2012, so it's not really a lot. I'll have two more published next year.

That's cool. I'm thankful we didn't have rain, even though it was nasty and overcast all day. Hoping for sun tomorrow, but won't know.

I am thankful we were able to get a new modem for the internet as the old one stopped working last night. Even though it wasn't as easy to set up as the lady in the store said it would be, we were able to with the help of their phone technicians.

Best of luck to you with your book. Basically thankful for another day. However, the sun went away again and we had rain most of the day, but that just kept me working harder on the PC. For some, the coming holidays are something to look forward to I look to them to remember the good times and try not to feel too bad because the memories are great, This year, however, I cannot put up decorations because my cats will just tear them down.
