Hello everyone. Happy Thanksgiving! I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 33 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. Way too cold for me! I woke up around 7 am today. It was better than getting up at 5:30 am with the alarm anyway. I thought I had leftover Belgian waffles in the freezer but that was not the case so I'm making do with 2 pieces of multigrain toast. Oh well. There will be plenty of food at my parents' house. My mother told me to get to her house around noon. That is the earliest she has ever done Thanksgiving. Oh well. It will be a difficult day for me. Holidays always are now that I am divorced. I remember so many holidays with my ex and I feel the sense of loss acutely. Kind of defeats the point of holidays and celebrating. In any case it will be good to see my niece and nephew. I can't wait to see what Grace thinks of my hair tinsel. I'll be back here probably by like 5 pm. I will start putting out Christmas decorations and continue my annual tradition of watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I never get sick of it. What's everyone else up to today?
