What can be a good mother?

Most of the time, I think that I must be excellent and do a lot of things for our children,take care with them for most of things, so that we can be a good mother. Now, I think first of all, I must make myself a happy person, I need more free time and space for myself, so that I can give more happiness to my children. This is the most important point to be a good mother, and let the children do what they want, rather than what I push or wish them to do.What do you think?

I think it goes both ways. I was the best mother that I could be at the time but I made a lot of mistakes.

I believe every mother needs time to herself for her own sanity. However, children should be exposed to many things and never be pushed into anything they don’t like.
