Even the maid bullied me

I am feeling very stressed, lots of pressure of felt being bullied by a maid
i am staying in a rented room. The landlord is an old man with a high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol he does not have a family. So he depends on hia maid to take care of him.
Problem is the maid keeps giving me one after another problem. In the beginning can cook, now cannot cook. Allowed to wash clothes 2x a week but now 1x a week. Her job to wash the toilet now she insisted we have to wash it. Supposed to have my meals on the dinning table but now must eat inside the room. All these rules she sets, not the landlord and he does not interfers at all.
Now she threatens me. I wan to move out but the rent is too high outside. Here the rent is the cheapest, that is why i have to endure all the bullying. I feel so stressful that even a maid could bully a tenant .

Are you the only tenant there?
Have a polite talk with the landlord.And say that changing the rules every now and then is not convenient. It would be better to get the rules documented.

Yes the only tenant. Landlord did not wan to do the tenant agreement either. He refused. Rules are verbally non record, non documented. He told me to listen to the maid rules. Unless i wan to move out

are the other tenants treated the same or are you the only tentant/renter there?

It really doesn't sound good. I heard that some maids even bully the employer, or the family members of the employer.
Have you talked to your landlord about this issue? Can he understand your situations and hopefully make you more comfortable and convenient staying there?

@peachpurple What an awful situation to be in. I'm so sorry. I do not blame you for feeling stressed! I wish I had a solution for you.

There's no one to control the maid and so she is bullying you. You can search for cheaper houses.

You are in a difficult situation if the landlord says you have to abide by her rules.
