How do you send reminders to yourself? A cereal post.

At the request of @TheSojourner, I am doing a cereal post about cereal.
I just had some Rice Krispies for my late early afternoon snack (my early early afternoon snack was a slice of extra sharp cheddar cheese).
I have plenty of milk, but the brown sugar I added was the last few crumbs from my bag, acquired at Safeway a month or two ago.
I just sent an email to myself to remind "me" to get more brown sugar when I head over there later this afternoon. I also need a few other groceries.
How do you remind yourself of things you have to do? I DO have a small pad by my computer where I write notes. But I mostly send emails to myself, as I check my email all day.
Do you still write "do do" lists?

Self-made sticky notes scattered all over the place is how George tends to remember things. Or, counts on me to remember stuff.

@TheHorse George is my husband, and Chilly is my cat. And, both have their ways of telling me what they want.

I have a pad that I make notes on so that I can keep in mind the things I'm going to need when I shop. Sending an email sounds like a good idea especially if you check them often. I rarely check my emails so I'd probably have to find a different way to remind myself.

I use scratch paper and write down items I need to have for the home.

@popciclecold
I also write down things I want to do or things to get. I either use paper or use the computer.

I write notes and make lists on Notepad on my phone. One permanent list is titled "Groceries". Pretty makes her own grocery list on paper... when we get to the store, we compare our lists and then start shopping.

@TheHorse It's how we've grocery shopped for years now.
Pretty is just learning how to use a smartphone. She hates them and would rather not use one except for the apps she uses to earn money online. *shrug*

I write lists. I only check my e-mail a couple of times a day.

I am surrounded by pieces of paper and notebooks because I jot down everything I do every day, what I post, and what I am thinking of posting. I also prepare a ready list of groceries that I want to order because I do this only once a month,

I'm a list writer. I have a ton of lists. The "to-do" lists for my hubby are ignored by him. :-(

No do list for me. No reminding option. If I forget, I go back and buy it. The malls and public market are just a walking distance
