You Are Told again-and-again that Lord Jesus Christ is ''Your Friend,'' but Would He 'Follow You Back' on Twitter??

Oh, 'having people "follow me"' isn't the ONLY reason I'm on Twitter---kinda like "money" isn't the only reason I'd go out & get a job. The original reasons I joined Twitter (and still the main reasons) were 'to check up on "people I know of (both famous & non-famous)"' & 'to express my opinions about things.' Twitter-members don't have to "follow me" to see my tweets ... well, they do if they want to read them without 'looking for me' (unless I @-tag them in the tweets). So I want more people to follow me (again, it's not the only thing I want; just like money ...). The way Twitter-following works, the number of people following me has to be at least 90% of the number of people I'm following. If I follow too many people, Twitter blocks me from following more until my follow ratio goes back up (i.e. a higher ratio of 'people following me' to 'me following people'). (The point's coming soon ... hang on ...) The reason some of the people-I'm-following aren't following me back? They haven't been on Twitter for a long time. So--using a Twitter-management site--I unfollow all the non-following 'people I'm following.' But then I unfollow the ones who have over a million people following them ... because could you imagine 'a star with over a million fans' giving each of those fans 'a way to give the star their own personal note'? That brought up the friendship-with-Jesus question. Then I think ... Why do we THINK Jesus is our friend anyway? I think it's two reasons: 1) that Gospel-billy song "What a Friend We Have in Jesus!" & 2) His statement that "No greater love can a man show than to give his life for his friends" (I'm paraphrasing there). But did He ask His friends if He had to die for them? I don't think so.

Just like with people now, if you post interesting stuff and don't ask for anything in return, then yeah, you might get followed back.
