My Favorite Songs with an Emotion in the Title- 3

Well, thus far this emotional roller coaster of a song series has been a real downer. So, let's lighten the mood and dry up those tears and focus on some "Happier" tunes instead. These favorites of mine should brighten up our playlist, lol. Happy days are here again! 1. "Shiny Happy People"- REM -Not my favorite tune from this band, but when I see the video, it makes me smile. Fun fact: That red head in the video is Kate Pierson of the B-52’s who adds harmony vocals. 2. "Happy"- The Rolling Stones -Great upbeat song from "Exile on Main Street" an album filled with them. And when it comes to making you happy this song delivers. And add a little lovin' from your girlfriend and it sure helps! Happy fact: This tune was sung by guitarist Keith Richards not lead singer Mick Jagger. TRIVIA CHALLENGE ***Now for our trivia music challenge for those who like to play along. See if you can guess these selections. Words in "quote marks" provide valuable clues! Name today's tune, artist or facts: 1. This American Rock band formed in 1965 and scored their first Top 40 hit with a Dylan song called "It Ain't Me Babe." Other hits followed in 1967 & 1968 with "She'd Rather Be With Me" and "Elenore." Today's mystery song from 1967 was their "biggest and best known hit" reaching the #1 spot on the music charts. Although the song title gives the impression of "a couple in love" it was not a "happy ending" as the guy realizes he and the girl will never be more than passing acquaintances. -Do you know the band who made this song a hit? The two founding members later formed a comedy musical act calling themselves "Flo and Eddie." 2.
