Chuck Robbins who is a resident of Heathrow Florida was amazed to see a huge black bear taking a nap on Friday night outside of his home which to put it mildly, it amazed him. Chuck was told by his neighbors that there were bears walking around the neighborhood throughout the day. Chuck who has video equipment in his home tried to take pictures of the bear that was walking around his front door during the day but by the time he wanted to take picture of a bear, the bear went home to the woods. It was during the evening hours when Chuck did take a picture on his video camera to film a bear taking a nap just outside of his door. What most likely happened is that after Chuck the video of the bear sleeping outside of his front door, he called the authorities to report the bear story to them. I am sure that either the wildlife officials or the police did work to remove the bear from the front door of Chuck's home and went back home.

Most likely what happened since I am sure the owner of the home must have placed food on the front porch of his home for some animals on the street to eat.

Nice that he got the pic he wanted and that the bear went home without incident.

Wildlife officials as well as police officers never want to injure or kill a wild animal unless it is in self defense.

@Deepizzaguy ........Or they are a danger in the area. Sometimes they will take them out and establish them somewhere else and sometimes they don't.

Goodness, that would be a surprise - to open your door and find a bear on the mat.

First we see deer , now bears! We'll be living in a jungle soon. That's scary to see a bear on your steps, no matter how cute it is. Next thing they'll be in your bed! Like Goldie locks and the three bears.

It appears that the fantasy stories that we read as children are now becoming a reality.
