No more relationship's

A mylotter asked was I liking a new fellow, the answer is no.
There will never be another man in my life.
I don't ever want to feel like I still do, I've never felt so hurt before. But it was both of our fault, we lost ourselves trying to live for the other. Toss in all the jealous people that put doubt in his mind. Whoever killed our dogs, those were our babies. Toss in our past relationships of being mistreated and that lead to no trust, without trust.....well that's a set up for failure.
I still love Robert and I always will. There is no room in my heart for another man.
He once said to me I need to be stripped of everything to see what it feels like but when that happened he also suffered because we depended on each other.
I lost me but I'm finding me again, though tears flow down my face daily, even this moment because I haven't shared this part of me.
Never another man for me, ever.

I understand how you feel. What happened between my ex and me is different, of course, but I am still just as devastated today as I was on the day he said he wanted a divorce. I cry every day and it has been almost 4 years. Hell tears are running down my face as I type this. I literally can cry on command. All I have to do is think of him and the pain is right there immediately.
I am not opposed to dating again but I don't know if there ever will be room in my heart for another man. I still love my ex and I don't know if that will ever go away.

Ang, we do not always choose our path, but sometimes the last one that we would choose is the one that we live.
You are a smart cookie, you have had good and bad, you have helped people during their final days, and had people push you to what you must have thought were your own final days.
You know the difference.
I do not wish you anymore heartache, or even questions about your personal feelings, that is something that we choose to share, not something to be questioned.
As always J20T, you're a rock, a strong and wise person whom I look up to.

With Robert, you discovered the real you and who lives on the inside, of him! It's no wonder you still have pain, genuine compassion and love, we never get over this! I still ache on the inside, over the ten years I spent with Bruce. We both remarried and adore our spouse. Yet, the pain of losing Bruce, never left my heart.

@andriaperry Yet, the Lord still has his Almighty hand upon your life. Jesus suffered greatly and his love for you and me kept expanding, he never turned his back even once. We are blessed, young lady! Don't ever forget this, OK? Tune in to Joyce Meyer Ministry, I've received tons of valuable teaching that's making a difference in my life. She was tromped into the dirt, her entire life. Then, Christ Jesus extended his hand to her and everything changed! We ALL need a miracle, that's a fact:)

I have heard others say this, and for some it is true. Others, it took them a while. Each person, each relationship is unique. I think some people jump into a new relationship too soon, without grieving, contemplating, or evaluating. Sometimes single is better.

I fully understand how you feel. After losing my husband, also the love of my life I already knew I no longer want any romance or another love in my life. If I have ever had a discussion with anyone online I always state it plainly I will not consider anything but a good friendship but nothing beyond that. I am content with being on my own and I am glad to know that at the end of it all for me my love will be waiting for me, That is enough to satisfy me. I wish the very best for you and I hope with time you will be as contented as I am. My memories are enough for me and I feel better after I shed some tears if I need to.
