Time is more valuable than money

I have no regrets that we shifted to this semi rural town as it is ideal for retired people - no air pollution, no sound pollution, just chirping of birds and an occasional barking of dogs.
Everything is available at stone throw. We have a hospital, banks, grocery stores, fish comes to the door. Be it the electrician, plumber, computer guy what ever they are all available and they are familiar with our issues.
What is annoying however is most do not keep to timings. Having worked for a multinational and living in a city thathas taught me the value of time.
The contractor called sounding professional. He said that a carpenter will call me and be at ours in a day. It is three days now and no sign. Grrrrrrrr

I am just the opposite. If I am expected at 4 I will be there on the dot.

@allknowing We are always punctual too. I would be embarrassed to be more than a few minutes late.

Yes. That is my latest acquisition. A friend bought it for me. I had some dollars. Each bird chirps at the given hour.

I agree, but at the same time time is money, because without money you have to use time to get it. lol. That being said your community sounds nice. Our community is mostly like that and I would have it no other way.
As for people wasting my time? That's a big no-no.
