Starting A New Journey

It has been quite a while since I have been on MyLot. I have experienced a lot of trauma. I'm coming up on the 1 year anniversary of how I lost everything in an apartment fire. I'm settled in a new apt but alcohol had taken over my life. Today I'm back to BigLot as a way to take my mind off alcohol. I'm going to get extremely sick. But today is the first day I hope of the beginning of my sobriety. I've tried stopping before, but could not handle how sick I became. The shaking, the sweating, throwing up, and forgive me for saying this.... the many bathroom calls. This is not going to be easy to go through. but literally... I'm so sick and tired of getting sick and tired because alcohol is controlling my life and slowly killing me. So, I'm going to try and post this painful journey to sobriety. I could use all the encouragement I can get.
