Encountering wildlife on the Silver River

Not many know that Florida has wild monkeys for over 80+ years here in North Central Florida specially in the Silver Springs area where movies were film, like some of the Tarzan movies like Creature from the Black Lagoon and a few others. Some believe that the Monkees were from the Tarzan movies but that is not true. There was a captain that would take tourist out on his boat on the Silver River and to get more tourist on his river boat cruise. He decided to put some rhesus monkeys on the island, but not knowing that rhesus monkeys are very Good swimmers.
