There is bizarre News coming in from India's most modern city Mumbai. Information has been reported by many newspapers that a man working with a travel agency in the city married twin sisters. The wedding is approved by the parents of both parties.
The man is 36 years old and both the girls are computer techies working in a company. It is learned that the man looked after the family, especially when the mother of the two girls had fallen sick. That was the period when both girls became fond of the same man. After the recovery of the mother the twins confessed to her about their love and she agreed that if they wanted and the boy agreed both could marry him.
The parents of the man also agreed and the marriage was solemnized on 2 December 22 but the police have acted and they have filed a case against the man as it violates Section 494 of the Indian Penal Code. However, this is a non-cognizable offense and the police have no power to investigate it The case is most likely to become dead like the dodo.

The man has to divorce one as bigamy is a crime in India. The family members cannot go against the Indian law.

@madan02 These crimes are investigated on second information. Surely the family didn't complain against themselves.

@aninditasen Yes, that is the point, unless somebody involved complains or lodges a report nothing can be done. This is similar to the law in England as the IPC is a copy of English law.
