What's your unforgettable moment during childhood?

I'm so sure each one of us has an unforgettable moment when we were young. What I cannot forget was when one time it rained so hard, I was 8 years old that time, I looked for a coconut tree and stood still on its body and let the water flowing from its body from top traveled to my face. It was an exciting episode of my young life that thrilled me whenever I remember it during rainy days.
How nice to bring back yesterday, but it won't, so I just let that unforgettable moment inspire me when I think about my past...
What about you? Sharing is caring.

I can never forget when I was 5 years old and in kindergarten, my aunt forgot to fetch me from school, Based on what I know at that time my father was teaching at a nearby university, and I braved traffic to go to the nearby school. I took a peek in each room to the surprise of the students and quickly closed the door as soon as I saw the professor. People I met on the street were asking me If I was lost, but I got angry at them and didn't bother to answer. I don't know why. Perhaps, I was a little bit high-spirited and stubborn as a child. I was crying when I didn't find my father and tried to remember the path toward the jeepney stop where we usually ride home. Just then as I was descending the street, I saw a familiar figure coming towards me, I felt a flood of relief when I recognized my grandfather. I ran to him and cried so much, that he brought me to an ice cream parlor and let me eat all the ice cream I wanted until I was full and had stopped crying. That was the lone memory I remember from my 5-year-old self.

What a wonderful memory is this! You were nearly lost I bet. Luckily you were found by your grandfather.

@sjvg1976 hide and seek for us was really a game. Some went to the woods and stayed hidden for a long time.

A Christmas night, I was very young, may be 4 years old. We got up with my younger brother to open the presents. There were golden footsteps on the floor leading from the balcony to the living room. We thought the angels had come inside to bring us the presents. Of course later I knew that Mom had drawn the golden fingerprints.

I remember when the buses didn't pick up the country kids because we had so much snow. It didn't stop me from going to school. I lived in the country. The snow was over the tops of my boots so my feet were wet and cold by the time I got to school. It was such a fun day with so many students not there. I was in third grade. We decorated the classroom for Christmas. It was an unforgettable winter day.

When I was 9 years old at my uncle's house. My cousins don't eat vegetables except me. My uncle praised me and told my cousins, "look at him he is eating vegetables". Then I said wanting to cry, "I want pork and ketchup". Everyone laughed at me
