@popciclecold I'd say can't believe that happened, but I can. The way people drive, it's a wonder anyone on our street have mailboxes.

My youngest daughter and her family purchased a farmhouse a few years back, before they decided to move to Florida. In 2 years, they had 4 mailboxes destroyed. One by a passing truck and the other 3 by snowplows. It was very frustrating for them. People could at least stop and own up to it or leave a note on the person's door or something. When I lived rurally, I lost 2 mailboxes and posts in 5 years, both to snowplows.

@popciclecold Of course the person who knocked it down should have put it back up, but you can bet they got away quickly.
