Frugal pantry vegetarian chili

Hi! How is everyone's Saturday doing? I'm trying to come on here a little bit more than I have been lately, just busy and trying to stay caught up with life things! I was proud of myself for this meal because all I bought for it was: a 2 pack of zucchinis. Yeah, seriously! The rest of the items came from my pantry or leftover veggies I had from other meals. I had some leftover tomato juice and vegetarian beans - as well as the rest of the ingredients in my pantry - diced tomatoes, black beans, chili beans, corn, spices. I didn't actually use vegetable broth this time, just water, spicy tomato juice, spices, and some salt. Of course I needed some sour cream and cheese for topping. I also used this can of carrots that I had no idea what to do with, and I don't hate it. Normally, I don't know what to do with canned carrots. But they actually don't taste too bad in the chili. Not sure why I've been afraid of canned carrots until this point. I can't really calculate cost PER say because even though I spent less than $10 on the ingredients TODAY, I bought those cans of beans etc earlier in the year, just hadn't used them until this meal. Have you made any good frugal meals lately?

Good for you! I'm unable to cook anymore; so I haven't made any frugal meals.

Yay for you and your frugality. I would say the majority of my meals are frugal. I am planning on an omlet tomorrow. I have all the ingredients here already so nothing will need to be purchased.
