How do you discipline your child? Do you frown on others who hit? What about those who believe in talking to the child?

I do believe in talking to a child what ever he is doing tell him appreciate him if he does something good and tell him that he did something bad if he commit bad things.

I've brought up children and it is beyond me how anyone could hit their own child. It'd be like hurting yourself. There's always another way.
