I just read a cool post from Dr. Chatterji. In Thailand, they have an animal reserve where you can feed giraffes from the second floor of a structure there, built for humans.
I found myself wanting to sniff the noses of the giraffes and seeing if they would react as horses do. In horse language, if you sniff their nose and then gently pull away, they sense that you are friend not foe and will act amused by your gesture.
I wonder if it is the same with giraffes. What's your best guess?
I'll attach a link to Dr. Chatterji's post below.
The enclosures of animals in Safari world in Bangkok in Thailand are amazing. Travellers stand on the 1st floor. The giraffe in adjacent land stand on the...

Not sure I’d feel comfortable being up close and personal with a giraffe.

@TheHorse They may not eat us but I bet they can really hurt us if they bang into us.

How interesting. I might be to intimidated to do that to a horse let alone a giraffe. Look how big their heads are. Bigger than people.

We hand fed two giraffes a couple of years ago; and I was in giraffe heaven. The heads of the giraffes were IN OUR CAR and on my husband's lap. I would love to go to that place in Thailand! Feeding a giraffe was on my bucket list; but so is touching a giraffe which I haven't done yet. Have a good week.

That is quite an interesting thing!
I think that some Giraffe traits could be the same as Horse's and others different.
But well, it's just a guess!

You just might be right, I remember a long time ago at a zoo a giraffe was curious while my photo was being taken, It bent its neck down and its nose came up to my cheek, I could fell its breath and I patted its nose. The next thing I know the giraffe licks my entire cheek leaving me dripping and raises up its neck and calmly walks off, Either it just made friends with me or was trying to see if I made a good lunch
