What I know about black bears are shy animals that try to avoid a confrontation with human being unless the bear is being attacked by a human being. This past Wednesday a black bear was seen on the front door of the home in Seminole County in Florida which belongs to Paul Newman who is not the deceased actor but a namesake who left his meal that he ordered from Chick-Fil-A when a black bear decided to help himself to eat the food that was inside of the bag which was filled with 30 nuggets and a large order of fries. Since Paul was not going to go outside to chase the black bear away unless he had a death wish, he allowed the bear to eat his food and walk away back to his home. The bear left behind at the Newman home leaving a paper bag that contained salad for some strange reason. I hate to sound like a broken record but until there is a way to keep bears to have a home to stay in the forest where they belong since their homes in the forest is being taken care of in the name of progress.

Yes indeed that is why they are coming in to eat at houses George. That Paul Newman guy was smart to just let the bear eat.

That is true since a bear is larger than the average human.

The bear was thoughtful enough to leave the salaad back. It's unfortunate that we are interfering so much with their natural habitat in the name of progress. They are not left with any choice. We had a few cases of leopard spotting in the nearby neighborhood. The area was a forest thar has shrunk in the name of urban development.

The bear is going to use its survival skills . . . see/smell food - it will go after it! And if the bear eats your food - it's best not to disturb it .

I know, these poor bears don't have a chance. Paul made a good choice. Don't disturb a bear when he's eating.

Food can be replaced when an animal decides to eat food that they see on the road or the home of a person, a life cannot be replaced.

How does it go black bear, never fear brown bear, be very scared, white bear just good luck and hopes it not hungry. Its not how it goes and pretty sure you should fear a black bear too, but they very big scardy cats. Many of them have a funny sense of humor is what I heard but you not allowed to see that part because people will try to pet them and be friends.

Maybe black bears do not like salad as a meal or the bear was full after eating the fries and nuggets.

Nowa days animals are coming to houses due to lack foods , lack of forests to live and supply their food , it is sad for the animals , really careful from those animals because really dangerous.

We used to get bluebirds stealing the cream from our milk bottles which the milkman delivered every morning. They would peck their way through the foil bottle cap and drink the cream floating on the top of the milk. Don't think bears would do that!

Animals need to eat and drink even if they have to steal food from humans living inside of their homes.
