A third grade teacher at the Ann T Case Community Learning Center in Akron Ohio was at the right place at the right time on Friday while the school teacher who goes by the name Mrs. Torres was teaching a course which was not mentioned was speaking to her student Willow Peoples had a hard time answering Mrs. Torres questions.
Mrs. Torres knew that Willow needed her help since she was having trouble breathing since she must have swallowed a food particle, Mrs. Torres used the Heimlich maneuver to remove the food particle on the third try to save the life of Willow who is grateful to be alive.
I am sure that Mrs. Torres will be rewarded by her employer for her actions to save the life of one her students in the near future in a school meeting.

@RubyHawk I believe that most school boards in our nation require that teachers learned first aid in order to qualify to teach in schools.

@Deepizzaguy All teachers should learn how to help a choking child.

I am in agreement with you that the Heimlich maneuver is the best way to save the life of a choking victim. Mrs. Torres is the guardian angel of Willow.
