A hammock for Snooki

We are home again in Treeby, Western Australia, after having spent four days visiting our son in Melbourne. He has a cat, Snooki, and is her devoted slave. If he goes out, she waits at the gate for him. When she sees him coming, she walks down the street to meet him. She is just another example of how important pets can be in giving company to people living on their own. Our son has made up this bed for her in the window and I snapped a photo of her enjoying a snooze there.

What a practical and wonderful place for his beloved cat. They do love to lie in the sun and from the window he would be able to see his master coming back home again.

Nico has a seat like that, but it works with suction cups and the cups kept coming loose, making it unstable. He hated it when it was dangling. Anyway, the CHristmas tree is where I had it before.

A lot of single people, and couples, here in our village have pets although mostly dogs. I'm sure they are really good for their owners' mental well-being.

She looks comfortable. Pets are an important part of our lives. I get my furbaby fix almost every day with the pets here. People are out at all times of the day walking their dogs. Some come right up to me now, knowing they'll get a tummy rub, a scratch behind the ears, and a good rub down. It helps them as much as it does me.

When I owned a cat, I bought the same thing. It allows them privacy and a window seat/view of those outdoor critters. I usually knew where she was as that kitty spent hours on that perch. Pets are great company!
