Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 31 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. Too cold! Speaking of cold, my classroom is freezing. I wrapped myself up in a blanket last period and emailed the assistant principal again. The thermostat says it is 66. I have 2 class coverages today. That’s an easy extra $85. They are both ELL classes (English language learner) so our communication is limited to gestures and Google translate. This class is all speaking Spanish. I have absolutely no clue what they are saying. I am exhausted and don’t have tutoring today so I am looking forward to a nap after work. What’s everyone else up to today?

Senorita Chic no hablo el es Spanol! I’ve had lunch. The governor has declared a state of emergency ahead of the storm tomorrow night, so I may just stay home until next Monday (and post songs you’ve never heard of ). You have a great day!

It's also very tiring to try to stay warm when you are not in a warm environment. I don't know if I could do it now, I get so very cold. I have very low iron, it seems to be making me feel the cold a lot. I hope you can sneak in a nap later.

Teaching English to students who speak Spanish? That's unreal! It was 11 degrees here this morning, I don't mind it one bit!

Your ELL classes sound interesting. Quite the challenge. Hope you have a good nap. Just getting ready for this storm to hit. Hubs is going out early to get what we need for Christmas. This afternoon will be questionable weather-wise.

I'm going to take a nap soon. I'm just waiting for my lunch so I can have a nice, long nap for a couple of hours.
