It seems like more and more parents are telling their children that there is no Santa becuase they think about it as lying to their kids. I personally think Santa is a key character in a childhood.. helps build a childs imagination... I think Christmas is more than toys from Santa I believe it is another time of the year to be caring and helpful.and Santa is a way to help reward those compasionate behaviors... and my daughter is 4.5 years older than my son and once she finds out the "truth" I will ask her to keep the secret going for her brother like I did for my brother and sister..

What? My daughter is almost 2 1/2 and she's seeing at all the christmas decorations. So we told her what santa does and we've been listening to sirus christmas station. She's still not comfortable with santa though. when we went to the mall, she didn't even want to wave to him. But yeah, even i believe in santa! lol

My daughter was the same way, she's 5 and says this year she is actually going to sit on his lap with her little brother... so we'll see lol.. she believes in him and was all upset when she was about 3 becuase she thought if she didnt go and see him and have her picture taken that he wasnt going to come to our house, So i had to explain to her that it's ok and he was still coming. lol
