But we did not lose electric. Thats a good start. The wind is staying in the 20 mile per hour range. That makes minus 4 F feel even colder.
I got the feeding and watering done without freezing myself. I didnt see any cats when I first started. They had ate half the food I gave them last night. When I got to the barn I found 3 of the 4 that are often here. They spent the night in there. The 4th holes up several different spots. I might see her this afternoon. The kids were curled together in a corner. They got up after I got the hay. I didnt see George but that means he should be in his building. It was still together this morning. Hopefully it holds another 24 hours. Then I will try to get it fixed even better.
Hope you are all staying warm and this storm ends soon for us in the U.S. Those of you where its warm send some our way please

We are really paying for the mild weather that we had. I worry about the homeless people and all the wildlife. We are s**wed in and will have to get someone to plow and someone to shovel the front walk and porch. Hubs thinks he will do it; but that would be very dangerous in this cold and wind. Stay safe and warm.

Hopefully this is the only big fit that Old Man Winter throws.
The wildlife know what to do. You will start seeing them again in a couple of days

We got rain so far but probably some snowy stuff in the next few hours but the wind is pretty bad and the temperatures will drop by nighttime. Fingers crossed we don't lose power too. Stay safe and warm and hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

That wind is just incredibly bitter cold. I can't remember a winter storm that had so much wind that I could literally hear it HOWL for hours. It's still howling. There is a humongous drift in front off my garage door. The wind has done weird things with the snow--some places have no snow at all, and in many other spots it's a big drift. I agree, hope everyone is safe and warm!
