Nice Newbie

I received my new HP laptop yesterday. It only took 5 days to get here. Wasn't expecting it until the 30th. I left it for a full day because it was freezing cold. But today I did the setup and am using it now. It is so nice. Has the keyboard backlight that I have wanted for so long and is wafer thin compared to my other one. It is fast and clean. The other one was just getting worn. I am trying to get used to the mouse on this one. It is a little different.
I could have gone longer without getting a new one but I wanted to get a new one before the now old one completely stopped working and I no longer had access. It has a drive on it that I can play CDs on and I didn't want to lose access to it. It is the only cd player I have at this time.
So I am very happy with my new one so far. A very nice gift I gave myself. We all need to do this from time to time.

@celticeagle Sometimes I wish my keyboard lit up and sometimes, I'm glad it doesn't.

Very nice I received a new laptop as a gift last year for Christmas, this year my boyfriend got me a new phone. I love HP laptops I never have any issues with them.

I'm hoping that I can also say that. I have gotten one before this but usually got Dell. Always had problems and now have had a good experience with HP.

Good for you and enjoy that new laptop, I agree I was able to do so myself and gifted myself with some items from Amazon which are now on the way,

I'm also using a HP laptop but mine doesn't have keyboard backlight. Enjoy your new laptop.
