Meals - 12/23/22

Well the weather is certainly making up for the mild days we had recently. Last evening it was 0 degrees Fahrenheit (-17.78 Celsius) with blizzard conditions. We are s**wed in and are going to have to find someone to plow the drive and shovel the walk. Hubs thinks he is going to shovel the walk; but I will not let him go out in this kind of cold and wind at his age and physical shape. What's the weather like at your house?
Well, here it is....1 day until Christmas. We didn't get our cabbage rolls done; so we will have to do them today. It should be very interesting. No ground pork so we will use Bob Evans Sausage....no white rice so we will use brown rice!
87 days until spring!
Breakfast - Chocolate chip muffin bar
Lunch - Lentil soup
Dessert/Snack - Brownie and decaf coffee
Dinner - Chocolate chip muffin bar

He is very stubborn. He doesn't want to pay the kid across the street $20 to do it.

$20.00 for a shoveling is a lot cheaper than buying a coffin, tell him that from my part.

It does not sound like a wise decision for your hubby to shovel with his heart issues.
Last night we had chicken teriyaki and beans.
Just a quick pizza for our noon meal today that we picked up on our way home from running an errand, and chili for supper tonight.

We had 4 inches of white stuff and it is 4F outside with the wind chill at 11F.
I ate some chicken and cabbage for breakfast, some Alfredo noodles with smoked turkey for lunch and had a slice of meat pizza for supper with two oranges for dessert.
I hope you get someone to shovel your walk and plow your drive today.

Hubby should be bonked over the head for being so stubborn. He doesn't want to pay the kid across the street $20. The last time he shoveled it took him 5 minutes. $20 for 5 minutes?

I’m watching the live feed from Santa Monica.
Yesterday was the other half of my beef stew for lunch, and a Jimmy Dean turkey sausage “breakfast burrito” (those things are incredible) and some chicken noodle soup for dinner.
