I really only got to know of her because of the Golden Girls and boy was she funny in that series. I think that's when she became a favorite with many fans.
However, recently I started watching the 1970s sitcom the Mary Tyler Moore show and when Betty White joined that comedy she was a very different kind of character.
I'm putting a link to one of the episodes she played in because I thought it was hilarious, tell me what you think of it:

@rebelann Okay I got to watch it just now..hilarious and I seem to remember this one too
Oh yes the comedies and what they call funny now is really strange to me. Why I do not watch comedies anymore.

@rebelann I don't remember a lot about the Mary Tyler Moore Show, but I know I watched it - perhaps my younger memories of her stem from that. I am thinking she must've been on The Carol Burnett Show. I am almost sure she was on episodes of The Love Boat. She was on That 70s Show too. She seemed to have been on a lot of shows!! Maybe even Sesame Street or The Muppet Show!

I enjoyed the acting work of the late Betty White since I did see her on the television game called "Match Game" in which she was a part of six panelists who had to guess the answer from a contestant who answered a question from the host who was the late Gene Rayburn.

She was the best! I became a fan when she became a cast member on The Mary Tyler Moore Show playing Sue Ellen the Happy Homemaker.

I have streaming TV services and have watched the Golden Girls several times and it's always funny. I never know which one I will like more as they are all very talented
