I was introduced to peanut butter here at myLot reading through posts. It has now become a staple diet - a breakfast item. I normally get crunchy roasted peanut butter with honey.
Peanut butter is better than the usual butter as it has no cholesterol and has other health benefits.
Some here at myLot also make their own peanut butter. Have not tried making it myself though.
Do you like peanut butter?

Yes, like peanut butter with slices of apple and jam on toast. Peanut butter cookies, chewy ones, great! I buy peanut butter at store, only.

I have not come across almond butter and at the same time I do not much like the taste of almond but like roasted peanuts - totally unsophisticated choice you might say

@allknowing There is almond butter and cashew butter that is also excellent. I cannot even smell peanuts without getting sick, we never buy.

The crunchy butter with honey should taste good as it is.

Yes, I like crunchy peanut butter as a spread on bread. I sometimes use it as fillings for the sweet sticky rice balls.

I must do that too. We make rice balls too. Do you fill up and then steam?

@Beestring That means you split the boiled rice balls and then stuff it with butter. Right?

I have always liked peanut butter. With honey, with jam or jelly, by itself...on toast or English muffins. It's a great fast breakfast to have it on toast and makes a person feel full, provides protein as well as it's just good. It's a staple pantry item in most American homes, I don't dare run out of it!

Probably I came to know of this reading through posts written by US users. It is now a staple duet here as well.
