Hope that all of you that celebrate Christmas had a very good day. Did you receive any gifts? What were they?
The cabbage rolls didn't come out of the oven until midnight; so we didn't get our nice Christmas dinner with a bottle of bubbly. Maybe tonight. We both had a couple of cabbage rolls at midnight to try them out.
Looking forward to the warming trend that is coming this week. A lot of this white stuff will melt.
85 days until spring
Breakfast - Chocolate chip muffin bar
Lunch - Lentil soup
Dessert/Snack - Lemon muffin with decaf coffee
Dinner - Cabbage rolls and mashed potatoes
What did you eat yesterday?

I hope you and your husband had a very wonderful and merry Christmas. My most wonderful present I get each and every year is spending an entire week at Disney World with my son and daughter. I could never ask for a better gift than that! But I did get a beautiful new leather jacket from my daughter this year, which I've been wearing at Disney since the temps have been in the 20s and 30s.

Thank you very much. I've been watching the temps in Orlando and thinking about you at Disneyland. That's much too cold for you!!!

@LindaOHio Just to clarify, it's Disney World I'm at. Disneyland is in California. But I know what you meant! haha
I'm doing okay in this cold for the most part. We've started a warming trend, so each day it's going to get a little warmer. By the end of the week I'll be in shorts and a t-shirt again.
I'm not happy though that it looks like it's going to rain on New Years Eve. I'm keeping a close eye on the weather forecast. We have dinner plans in Cinderella's Castle on NYE right before the fireworks, but if it looks like it is going to rain on our parade (or fireworks in this case), I may make contingency plans to celebrate NYE on December 30th instead. Luckily, Disney celebrates NYE on both the 30th and 31st (because the crowds are so crazy and out of control they kind of have to celebrate it over the course of 2 nights).

@moffittjc I hope your NYE plans aren't spoiled. It's going to be 56 here by Saturday and this white crap will melt!!! Have fun!

*sigh* It's falling again right now... You were supposed to send it all to Eva.
I tried to call the allergist to reschedule my appointment tomorrow but the line says their phone has been disconnected. I'm guessing the line got broken between my house and their business. I supposed they'll figure out I'm not coming in when I don't show up.
I'm sorry, I don't remember what I ate yesterday. (Most of the time I remember to make little notes to myself on Notepad so I can tell you what I ate but forgot to do that again. )

@sallypup I used to love snow... Now, I look at it and am happy I don't have to walk in it, drive in it or shovel it anymore... And Mother Nature could stop dumping it at my house.

Sorry about the s**w. It will start melting this week. Too bad about your allergist's phone. I imagine there's a lot of that after the storm.

Had a very nice day. We don't exchange gifts and didn't get any from elsewhere. I think it is a day for giving and not receiving.

Those cabbage rolls really took a long time.
We had brunch and I had bacon and a bit of orange cranberry loaf.
Supper was the tradition turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, squash and a relish tray.
We finished with a slice of pumpkin pie each.

Your dinner sounds wonderful. My husband is a procrastinator. It takes a lot to get him moving.

I just love cabbage rolls but won't fuss to make them just for me. I made a crazy combination with pancake mix base, topped with some hot dogs and everything topped with pork and beans and then I just cut into pieces and it, It came out pretty good,

Sounds good. I doubt we will make cabbage rolls again. It takes forever; and our backs and legs were hurting afterwards. I was sitting; but hubs had to stand.

I love your gifts! Cabbage rolls at midnight ticked me off because I wanted to have them for dinner. Hubs procrastinated again!
