Hope every one had a merry Christmas!!! Ours was full of unexpected surprises!!
For the last couple of years, we've been dealing with sewer issues. The problem lies on the village side , so it is their responsibility is theirs. Well, an issued arose onm Christmas Day!!! I was doing a load of laundry and was on the toilet, when the wash water was bubbling up in the toilet!!!! Not a clean bidet!! Then on top of not having sewer or being able to take a shower/bath or washing clothes I have to deal with MIL (mother-in-law) issues, it's too much for me to handle!!! I rode my stationary bike for 15 minutes (which I do daily) and I felt better, but then my computer "Google Chrome was not responding" and was rehashing things to my friend, I again was getting agitated!! So, I went out into our lean to, closed the doors and let out a "primal" scream!!! I could feel all the tension releasing from my body!!! How do you relive your stress??

How nice to read your post. Haven't seen you on here in quite a while.
MIL issues and sewer issues? Wow! You have been up against it.
Sometimes a primal scream is the best thing ever. Feel so good. That and a good cry.
I have delt with stress for many years and in leaving my ex back in the late 90s it got to the PTSD level. I would run to other parts of the house whenever the doorbell rang or there was a know on the door.
I hope that things get better for you in the new year. Good to see you and hope you come on more.

That reminds me of a bad day I had in high school. I was left taking of the house by myself really for the first time. The first thing that went wrong was that the toilet wouldn't flush. The plunger had no effect so I decided to figure it all out after dealing with a couple of chores. The chickens needed water so I retrieved their frozen water tub and run hot water over the bottom to release the ice in the laundry sink just outside the bathroom. When I came back from giving fresh water to the chickens, I heard a gurgling sound in the bathroom. Ever the optimist I thought my toilet had unplugged itself. Nope, all the water that went down the laundry sink drain was coming up the shower drain. It was disgusting. Somewhere in all this, it dawned on me that the drain pipe had frozen. I had to visit the crawlspace under the laundry room to get at that. I got a screwdriver and undid the panel to give me access shone a flashlight in and I have never seen such a mass of cobwebs in my life. I couldn't see more than a few yards. Eventually, I spun them all up in an old broom took a kettle of hot water with me, and managed to defrost the pipe. The rest of the needed cleanup wasn't much fun either. I probably did a lot of cussing for stress relief but I don't remember.

Do my work of cleaning up the bedroom and tune into the streaming channels to listen to musician from my late parents' generation to cheer up my bad mood.
