Actor Mark Doherty was the right place at the right time recently even though the exact date of the incident was not mentioned that he was riding a bicycle with a young boy whose name was not mentioned in the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan New York when a parked car surprised the duo and swerved in front of them. Mark then reacted to the auto that ran swerved in front of them by swerving to the left to avoid a collision with the auto not to mention have the young boy who he was taking care of riding in an enclosed compartment in the front of the bicycle. The problem that Mark had to deal with is when he put on the brakes which caused the bicycle to lock up where Mark went flying in the air about six feet when he landed on the ground with a broken collarbone and bruises on his body. Mark did show concern for the welfare of the boy who was wearing a helmet did land on the head inside of the bicycle compartment, but he was not injured. Mark did take the boy to the home of his parents. Then Mark as the boy went to visit a doctor to be checked out for his health scare. The parents of the young boy who is friends with Mark decided to not to make comments to the news media regarding the incident. It is nice to know that despite the fact that Mark Doherty is an actor, he seems to be a down to earth person who is one of us as a human being.

I like a celebrity who is one of us instead of lecturing us on how to live and not setting an example for us to follow.

He was concerned about the boy which is normal and he went out of his way to make sure he was ok.

I agree with you since a lot of us show concern for young kids in times of danger.

Another Mylotter had had a scary time up in the Bronx with idiot drivers and now I read this. Glad someone like Mark was around to help when needed.

I have heard the stories of drivers in New York City driving dangerously on the roads. Mark was taking care of the child at the time of the accident.

That was good he was able to protect the boy as much as he could. What does he star in, not familiar with his name.

I think he had a part in the Spider Man movies with Tom Holland as a police officer.

@Dena91 I have heard a lot about them but I have not seen any of them under the Tom Holland era since it is basically the same story.

@Deepizzaguy We haven't watched any of the Spider-Man movies. Explains why I am unfamiliar with him,

It is a shame that Mark was injured at the hands of a driver who did not see where he was driving when he left the parking lot.

@kobesbuddy The most likely scenario is what happened. Some drivers do not heed the message not to drive while on their cellphones.

@RubyHawk It is true because being famous means the person has to be a controversial figure.

That is true since Mark was kind to give the child words of encouragement at the time of the accident.

It is a shame that drivers do not use safety rules when they are driving to avoid collisions with other drivers or pedestrians.
