There are several reasons why choosing a vegan lifestyle can be beneficial for both the environment and personal health. Veganism involves abstaining from using animal products, such as meat, dairy, and eggs, in favor of plant-based options. This can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and water usage, as the animal agriculture industry is a major contributor to both. A vegan diet can also be lower in cholesterol and saturated fat, which may help reduce the risk of certain chronic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes. In addition, veganism can be a way to show compassion for animals and support animal welfare. Are there any other reasons why someone might consider becoming vegan?

The main reason I know of is because it is healthier than meat. But I'm no vegan. I try to eat more veggies because of my health but I can't live without meat. But it would be great if I can curb my desire for meat. It would be the best for me, my mind tells me, but my palate refuses to listen.

Green house gasses keep the planet alive. Water is in constant motion whether being lap up by an animal or wicked up through a plant's roots. Don't but into the climate change bs. First it was global warming, then global cooling, now climate change. These are all ideas put forth by a small group of prominent individuals who have their own agendas in mind.
Vegans, the ones who eat no meat tend to develop serious health issues as do those who eat only meat. To answer your question, I can think of no reason to choose veganism.
