COVID symptoms?

I would like to ask for your help. COVID finally graced our home with its unique presence a few weeks back. While hubby had milder symptoms, fatigue a bit of general malaise, I was treated to a more robust version - headache, fever, sore throat, cough, no taste for a week. Though many of the symptoms are similar to flu, the way they present are different, at least for me. I call it the 'going down?' phenomena. The whole thing started in my head, then my sinuses, throat (sore and hoarse) then down to the chest (coughing). Then I felt better and figured, ok, I'm now 'initiated'. Until a week ago. The Friday I was off work - felt terrific, got all sorts of things done in a short time. Then Saturday - I was just lethargic and weary. I thought, well, probably overdid it yesterday, I'll feel better tomorrow - Sunday - nope - tired, draggy. I've been working on my flexibility, finding I was having some success when Sunday night, I was so stiff and sore, my exercise regime had to be modified. Monday night, I had to get out of bed a number of times and just walk around, the pain in my hips and legs was very uncomfortable - it kept waking me up. Tuesday night was miserable - I had to take medication just to get back to sleep, and I didn't sleep well at that. Wednesday, I thought I'd have to cancel my classes, I could hardly sit - but then a funny thing happened. The pain that had been worst in my hips and tailbone, went and 'moved down' to my thigh area! Just like the symptoms I had with COVID two weeks earlier! The 'going down?' phenomena. Sure enough, by end of day Wednesday, the pain had moved down, and by Thursday I felt it in my calves. I'm pretty sure it was a resurgence of COVID - this was not ordinary 'stiff and sore' Just wondering if anyone else has experienced these bizarre symptoms and suspected it was an extension of COVID?

I think you don't have to worry if you get vaccinated. I have that kind of symptom too few months ago. All I do was taking a high dose vitamin C, zinc and Vitamin D3. It get rid off in one week

Good idea - I wonder if echinacea would do the same? I used it with my children when they were little, and it was usually very effective.

@sulynsi echinacea is good to raise the body immune, but it is not as good as Vitamin C. I read that echinacea have a side effect, but I forget what it is

@ifa225 Well, I know that it doesn't taste very good, so you don't want to chew the tablets !

I don't have a Covid test at home and I had the symtoms last Wednesday. I am not sure whether I had Omicron, but I think so. As I hadn't a fever for many years, but last Wednesday and Thursday I had high fever. It didn't as terrible as I expected. At least I even didn't take any medicine. I just had enough rest and plenty of water and I got better after a few days.

I have been fortunate so far as I've not been infected as far as I know. I hope you get well soon.

I have read about these symptoms of Covid ongoing for a long time for some people. For instance also, I have heard from others, two Uber drivers that I had, young fellows told me after they got the Covid jab, they have had ongoing pain in their hip region as well..ongoing to the point of debilitating. Speaking for myself, I got covid in May last year..got it medium like, not severe, but ever since then, I have had many different things affecting my health that I never ever had before that. Don't know is the best I can do. But it is no fun.

Not sure if a negative response is helpful, but no I haven't. I had Covid last January and just generally felt poorly with a temperature which lasted a few days.
