I bought a house about a 1.5 months ago and I have been working on updating a few things here and there and have tons of plans for next year, as long as can I can afford to do them - both money and time. *Finish basement I have a half-finished basement and it needs drywall and new flooring in one of the rooms. I am going to probably start this project soon - once I kind of come up with a plan. I also have a Home Depot coupon that expires in a few weeks that I want to take advantage of... This is going to be a huge, dusty project but I'm looking forward to doing it and the final result. I have this room I eventually would like to turn into a workout room, once it's all finished up! I also need to drywall the ceilings which I am NOT looking forward to. I think these projects will help me be more handy in general. *New garage service door (I have bought the door, just need the installation) *Vegetable & Flower gardens - Spring *Eventual project - refinish bathroom tub (or replace the tub? Who the heck knows!) *Eventual project - refinish the wood floors in the upstairs. This will be a huge undertaking. Maybe next fall. Who knows. They also are really squeaky and drive me crazy. I think there's a way to fix that, but who knows. Having a house gives me SO many projects, especially having a house built in the late 1950's. I am truly only thankful that nothing has broken so far....Knock on wood! Do you have any major house repairs or home improvement projects you'll be working on this year? Any goals?

Congratulations on getting a new house! It sounds like you've got a lot to work on. I don't have any house projects going on, but just need to work on decluttering + organizing. Hope you'll get those projects done soon.

None. House improvements siphon a great expenditures for everything here is too costly.

That house looks really cute. Having a house gives you an endless amount of projects and also expenses. Mostly working on deep cleaning here. Most of the floors are laminate, but two rooms have carpet that will need to be cleaned.

I would like to have the guest bathroom redone; but I don't see that happening this year. Good luck with all your projects.
