WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES

Last year (2022, a week ago, we had 3 days in a row with a high of 56 degrees and early morning temperatures in the 40s and some areas, with wind chill factors, went into the 30s.
This year (2023) we had a record 86 degrees as our high yesterday and life went back to normal!
The good thing about last year/week was I got a chance to air out my 'winter' clothes including my favorite sweatshirt--if you can't read it, (#2 picture) it says : "Give me some chocolate and nobody gets hurt!"
The only bad thing is that our streets, restaurants, beaches, etc., were jammed with 'snowbirds'--people running away from all the snow, ice, sleet and COLD weather! In fact, Florida was the fastest-growing State in the USA!
All is good--so far! :O)

It's 63 and raining today; but by the end of the week it will be back into the 30s. As long as we don't get a run of that horrible 0 weather and s**w again! We still want to move to the Keys. Love the shirt.

How wonderful today was soft blowing breezes, the 70s, and sunshine, Enjoy the new year.

@GreatMartin this is the year I am bound and determined to at least head for the beach or a park starting once a week to get myself moving, I have been inside four walls way too much,

Wow, you were that warm yesterday! We're in the low 60s and it's showering on and off . . . actually like winter for us . . . considering they predicted a warm and dry winter for CA. I don't doubt so many have flocked out your way. Happy New Year to you, GreatMartin! May you have a wonderful 2023 and plenty of carrot cake (or chocolate) to go with it!

I love that “give me some chocolate and nobody gets hurt” shirt!
We’ve done a 180-degree turn, too. I think it was a 54-degree drop, followed by a 54-degree warm-up! Severe weather in western Kentucky right now, but it’s supposed to stay south of us here in the land of the Derby.
You have a great 2023!!! Just 14 more months until you turn 22!!!!!!

We're having on and off rain today. I liked having a break from the rain yesterday, but wish I had your temperatures today! It's in the low 50s right now, so I shouldn't complain.

@GreatMartin We're getting a bad storm tomorrow. I should put away the lawn inflatables before they become projectiles.
