Amanda Bobcean who is an ER nurse who in the Memphis Tennessee area was at the right place at the right time on Thursday December 15 when am 18 year old teenager who plays sports in Memphis Junior/Senior High School which includes wrestling, baseball and football was in the hallway when he suddenly suffered a heart seizure and blacked out.
Amanda was in the same area when the teenager who did not want his name released to the public was at the right place at the right time since Amanda was jogging with her cheerleading students when she saw the incident first hand.
Amanda was able to get a student to get her an Automated External Defibrillator so she could administer first aid to the fallen wrestler who has never had heart problems in the past. After about 30 compressions, the student was able to regain consciousness and be taken to two hospitals for a period of six days before he was released.
The student was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy which will limit the student to play non-contact sports from now on.
Amanda was rewarded by the Memphis Community Schools on December 18 for saving the life of a student that needed her help.

I am happy for Amanda as well since she was at the right place at the right time since Amanda was seen running with the cheerleaders during a training session at the same time the teen collapsed while he was in training for his wrestling class.
