Yep, this is another post I meant to make a few days ago, but I never got around to it lol. I’ve had my goals written out for several days now, but I think I’ll shorten them for this post. I know making goals isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s something I enjoy doing. So anywho, here are my goals for 2023.
- I want to take care of my physical, mental, and emotional health. This includes losing weight, dealing with my anxiety, and learning how to manage my stress better.
- I need to practice more self-care, from fixing my sleep schedule to unplugging from social media when necessary. I also want to stay away from toxicity and pick and choose my battles.
- As for my self-employment, want to continue to grow as a freelance writer, and this includes increasing my clients and writing teams. I also want to find a “side hustle,” such as editing or proofreading, and increasing my activity on certain survey websites.
- Of course, this means I need to improve my time management. I’ve tried various methods, and I think setting weekly/monthly goals may be the best solution for me, so that’s what I’m going to stick with for now. I also need to improve my routine, prioritize my tasks, and sign out of all social media while working.
- I also need 2023 to be the year I get my finances straight, and I need to do better at budgeting and saving. Recently, I opened a savings account for emergencies (something I should’ve done years ago, I know), so I’m feeling good about that step. I’ll also continue to save for self-employment taxes, as always.
- For my writing, I want to do a little more than my freelance writing. I’ve signed up for Medium, and I need to get more active on here as well. My Daddy and I started an e-book on babysitting many years ago (as I’m experienced in working with children), and I did find it recently. I figured it might be fun to touch it up and publish it on Amazon. I doubt it’ll be published this year, but I need to at least get started on it. I’d dedicate it to both of my parents. I also want to keep journaling online and offline, just for fun and to express myself.
- Now for the fun stuff. I’m eventually going to start saving up for future NKOTB events (I haven’t been able to add to those funds) and Disney with my younger sister and brother-in-law. WWE Wrestlemania is coming to Philadelphia next year, which is about 2.5-3 hours from me, so it’d be fun to attend one of the local events and see my friends, but I’ll determine if I can and really want to later. Of course, I need to prioritize and focus on my important expenses before adding to my fun money. Otherwise, I’d love to plan more fun activities for myself and my loved ones.
Overall, improve my finances, health, career, & routine, & be able to have more fun throughout the year.
Do you have any goals for 2023? If so, I hope you’re able to accomplish them! :)

Getting more accomplished online when it comes to my writing and poetry, finding ways to make a bit more money, and continuing with my survey sites. I also plan on making goals for each month so I can follow along with what I accomplish, Best of luck to you with yours,

I am hoping that 2023 is going to be a good year. I have high hopes that the plans that I have in place will come to fruition and I will be able to become more financially stable in 2023. I am in the process of working on a website that I want to launch in a few weeks that I am hoping will take off quite well. It's something I have wanted to do for a while after having to close down a site in 2017 due to hosting costs rising to an amount I couldn't afford.
I am also hoping to get into better shape by drinking more water and I am looking to get a weighted hula hoop as well to hopefully tone up my body as well. Time will tell just how much I accomplish in 2023, as long as I stay focused and on target I should see results!
Good luck to all working on their own resolutions!

2023 feels like the year so many people want to make improvements, and I'm all for it! I hope everything works out for you. And I feel that, I don't think I could afford a domain and hosting... YET, so I just look to the free websites for now.
I'm trying to drink more water. Using flavor packets helps with that, and so does drinking flavored sparkling water.
We seem to have a few of the same goals. And thank you so much! Good luck to you as well! :)
