Thursday Morning Brief

Good morning. I'm off to a good start this morning. When I woke up at 2:30 this morning, the first thing I noticed was that it was snowing and will for most of the day. 
You can see the early photo taken moments ago.
Today is an exciting day. It's sibling day. I'm meeting with my sister and brother and their spouses for dinner tonight before we go to the Michealangelo event at the conference center. My sister paid for my ticket. I'm paying for my son's and his girlfriend's dinner for getting me to the restaurant.
I'm also off to a good start with over a thousand steps already this morning as I did my first round of the hallway. I'll get more rounds of the hallway throughout the day. I also want to get on the bike this morning.
Then there's Canasta at noon. I've won or been on the winning team for the last two weeks. It will be interesting to see if my luck holds out or if it was only a fluke.
Right now, I need to eat as my stomach feels like there's a hole in it that needs to be filled.

I would offer you some warmer weather but I really want to keep that for myself today.

I hate driving in snow but hate snow on ice even more.

@DaddyEvil I'm not happy with snow on ice either. That's how I landed in the ditch last year on my way to church.

I hope that you enjoyed your time with your siblings today. Glad you were able to get in that many steps. Was your winning streak kept alive in Canasta?
I went to the store this morning. Made ribs for supper. Studied some for Sunday school and took a nap. It was a blessed day.

Yes, my winning streak continued. Not just one game, but both.
I had such a wonderful evening with my brother and sister. The Michaelangelo event was truly spectacular. Again, that's an understatement. Here's just one of the many pictures I took.
