Jeanne Woolwine was taking her dog Gracie for a walk in West Fargo North Dakota on Wednesday afternoon when Gracie escaped from the leash that Jeanne was holding since Gracie was chasing turkeys in the Sheyenne River when Gracie fell into the icy river.
Jeanne admits that what she did to rescue her dog by stepping on the ice to bend down on the ice area where her dog was underneath the icy river by grabbing her leash and her collar to yank her out safely.
Jeannie admits that she fell down running through the brush falling down when the leash was stuck on the trees after she rescued her dog who would have drowned had Jeanne not made an attempt to rescue her dog out of love since there are many self-help speakers who have gone on record that people will take action to save a life even if they are scared because they have faith that a guardian angel will take care of them.

I am sure that both Jeanne and Gracie will be safe and sound after they got home after their close call with drowning in the river.

@RubyHawk I am happy for them as well since Jeanne would have been heartbroken to lose her dog had she not made an effort to save her.

Jeanne's guardian angel was certainly with her, she could have drowned, too!

Jeanne did admit that if she had to save her once again, she would have called 911 even though she was overcome with emotion to make the decision to rescue her dog by making the move to walk on the ice and use the leash the dog had on her possession to save her.

Jeanne is lucky that she was able to save her dog. I would have panicked. I would do anything to save my dog.

I know if I was in Jeanne' s shoes and my dog fell into an icy river, I would be scared and be willing to save my dog since I would not be able to contact 911 since I do not have a cellphone.
